Why Love?

I’m not going to write a story book or share butterfly stomach sensations.

I’m going to share what I feel love is and why it’s important to stay in love.

Before now I avoided talks of love like a plaque I was just afraid of the “breakfast situation”. I was afraid of being heartbroken and instead acted like I was allergic to love. I stayed friends with people who could have been my romantic partner for life.

What I didn’t realize is that I was love itself, I have always been in love with nature, with life and myself. Love gave me life, and strength to move past every difficult situation and overcome challenges. I would be nothing without love.

Things like writing, reading, singing, listening to music, watching movies, bringing things to life through my imaginations were all aspects of love. Love gives meaning to life, it’s the whole essence of living and existence itself.

Love is evident in our choices and preferences. It’s linked to our sanity. The moment we stop loving we start to die.

Imagine just living and having people make our choices for us, not making our own decisions and living by others choices.

I’d call it the living dead!

Yes, to exist as a living entity you must love! Love life!

Waking up looking out your window, seeing the rays of sunshine fleeting in through the opening, stepping out in the early hours and feeling the morning breeze on your face, the first crow, the birds singing, the greenery of the grass, the cool surface of the river as you drive past the bridge_ they all points to a unique connection that exist between everything living. The beauty of it is simply Love in the truest definition.

Love isn’t just the symphony between flesh; of course it is expression, we express love to someone, but it exists in the simplest things such as nature, color, material things.

Everything that gives us joy, happiness, helping us feel relaxed and fulfilled such as music, food, drink, beautiful dresses, the calmness of the river, the waves of the ocean, the rainbow, rows of flowers and many more_ all captured our hearts and deepens our connection with ourselves and things that exist outside our body.

Love is simply life itself.
